Originally Michael was born in Feldkirch, Austria on 7th October 1981. Since 2002 he has been living and working in Vienna. Michael Hacker likes to work in Printmaking techniques along with silkscreening. He is an Illustrator and cartoonist. Hacker studied in graphic design and advertising at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna as well as in visual communication at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO).
He likes to produce screen prints, gigposters, illustrations, graphic design, murals as well as installations and filmworks. He currently is doing all of this with a group of artists called Atzgerei. Hacker also works as a freelance Illustrator. He has illustrated and printed posters for bands and other various businesses.

Michael Hacker has some brilliant pieces in his gallery. His styles using printmaking add a great deal of uniqueness to his works. Some of his photoshop pieces are interesting as well. There is a lot of simplicity in his illustrations that can be seen on his website.
