Maura has pretty much been drawing all her life. She started drawing on huge rolls of paper as a child and continued to pursue her talents through her life. Today she mixes up the style a bit from just drawing. She integrates photography, type, cut paper, collage work, etc. As well as the traditional style methods of painting and drawing.

Her work is very simplistic and creative. I really like all of the individual faces she makes. Even though they are all executed in the same style, they are all unique and individual. I really like the choices of color she uses in simplifying the characters down. They are bold and bright which really adds to her work.
